Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ripped into Sen.

“Unfortunately for supporters, as I am, of secretary Clinton, Iowa and New Hampshire are uniquely suited states for Bernie Sanders, so he should be doing better there than in other states”, he said.

Ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, the Democratic presidential candidate is trying to convince voters that she is authentic.

Senator Sanders pushed Clinton about the donors who give to her campaign. She spoke at hundreds of colleges during Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential bid.

Mr Sanders claimed a moral victory in Monday’s Iowa vote, winning 49.6 per cent to Mrs Clinton’s 49.8 per cent in the first vote of the U.S. election cycle, having trailed as a distant second only months earlier.

But Clinton is being a bit disingenuous when she says that Wall Street is funding ads that attack her: While there is some basis in fact for her assertion, the reality is that Clinton is broadly popular on Wall Street, which she did represent as New York’s senator. In the furious final week of campaigning before the Iowa caucuses, Sanders left the state to headline a pair of rallies in Minnesota.

“While Trump, Clinton and Cruz wallow in a negative favourability swamp, by comparison, Rubio and Sanders are rock stars”, Malloy said.

Asked by moderator Rachel Maddow if the errors in the advertisement – and several other instances of improper behavior by Sanders volunteers – indicated the candidate was struggling to exert control over his campaign, he responded forcefully, saying he was “not losing control of our campaign”.

Sanders has a big lead in New Hampshire polls, but he was eager to lower expectations for his finish there, casting himself as an underdog.

Another poll this week from Public Policy Polling showed that Clinton still lead the race with support of 53 percent of voters to Sanders’ 32 percent.

HORSLEY: Well, she suggests Sanders and his supporters have been engaging in what she call an artful smear. Sanders is the favorite among young, Democratic voters, many of whom helped him make up a double digit deficit in the polls in Iowa. A sizeable 11% say they are undecided. Aides said she was invited by the city’s mayor, Karen Weaver, and plans to hold a town hall meeting with residents before flying back to New Hampshire in the evening.

Sanders is not wrong in calling the results a “tie”.

But with the contest between Clinton and Sanders becoming increasingly rancorous in recent days, Elleithee cautioned that the benefits of a long primary, “depends on what kind of campaign it is”.

The first one-on-one debate between the two candidates was hostile at times, especially after Clinton attacked Sanders for running what she deemed to be a negative narrative against her. As candidates crisscrossed the state, the all-out push for votes despite a snow storm that forced Sanders and Republican candidate Donald Trump, to cancel afternoon events, illustrated the growing stakes.
