The three were shot when gunmen, wearing disguises and believed to be armed with handguns and an AK-47, opened fire at the Regency Hotel on Swords Road at around 2.20pm on Friday.

As said by the officials, at the time of attack the hotel lobby was full of boxing fans who had gathered for the ceremonies for two weekend boxing competitions.
Two other men were seriously injured in the incident at Dublin’s Regency Hotel at about 14:30 local time.
Another two men were taken to the Mater and Beaumont hospitals “with possible gunshot wounds”, Irish police added.
At that point, the gunman leaned over the receptionist’s desk and looked down at me, pointing the gun down at me at this point.
A burned van was found later.
A witness reported seeing the third gunman talk to a man dressed in a blonde wig and grey dress during the shooting, although it’s not clear if he was armed.
Three gunmen entered the Regency Hotel dressed as SWAT officers while another dressed as a woman and a middle-aged man wearing a baseball cap, police confirmed.
In the terrifying footage one terrified little girl can be heard screaming: “Daddy help me”.
“I was looking down the barrel of the gun and thought I was going to die”.
Another witness said “all hell broke loose” when a man came in and fired three shots in the air.
Gardai have raised concerns that yesterday’s shocking Regency Hotel shooting could spark a series of gangland feuds.
“I started shouting “don’t shoot, don’t shoot” because I could hear more gunfire from the other side”.
“The man who is now dead – he was no more than six foot from me”.
“There were two other people at the back and apparently they were dressed as gardai and they were shooting”.
Boxers were weighing-in ahead of the “Clash of the Clans” the city’s National Stadium.
In dramatic amateur video of the attack rapid gunfire can be heard erupting in the lobby just seconds after the men left the stage in a function room around 2.30pm.
“There was an incredible noise out there (in the lobby) and that is where I saw a body, a corpse, lying literally at the edge of the reception desk”, he said. The other two men injured were both in their twenties or thirties.
“Shortly afterwards emergency crews were called to the Charlemont Estate area of Dublin where a transit van was set alight and they brought the fire under control”. “His face was completely distorted, is what I can say about it”.
But Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, who spoke by phone to the justice minister and police commander, said the attack was believed to be “the work of rival criminal gangs in the Dublin area”.

According to a tweet on Friday afternoon from Box Nation: “following today’s incident at the Dublin weigh-in, tomorrow’s show from the National Stadium has been cancelled”.
