Barbara Bush Draws A Crowd In New Hampshire Campaigning For Jeb
Adding to the sense that his campaign was struggling, video taken at a Hanover, New Hampshire campaign stop Tuesday showed a deflated-sounding Bush asking an unimpressed crowd to “please clap” after his pledge to protect the country was met with silence. “There are shortages of doctors and nurses and clinicians, but the bureaucracy on top of those dedicated public servants make it harder and harder for veterans to get care”, said Bush. He likened Bush’s perseverance to a “Muhammad Ali-like vow to surprise the world in New Hampshire”. But at least one Bush supporter at the town hall was urging Bush to take of the gloves on the debate stage.

“I don’t really follow the pundits because it’s not good for my health”, joked the former Florida governor in a question and answer session with voters in a school cafeteria yesterday.
As someone who suffered through his brother’s presidency as an adult, it’s been cathartic to watch Bush’s absolute disaster of a campaign for the Republican nomination in 2016.
After the crowd erupted in agreement, Bush highlighted his own record of helping people with disabilities, and as he’s been doing for weeks, lambasted Trump for what he calls his habit of “disparaging” people, suggesting this time that his rival candidate needs a visit to the couch.
Former first lady Barbara Bush says her son Jeb is “decent and honest, and everything we need in a president”.
“I apologize mom”, Jeb Bush said while looking over his shoulder. After George H.W. Bush lost Iowa in 1988, she recalled an “awful” plane ride to New Hampshire in her 1994 memoir. Ted Cruz (Texas). “Very talented people – don’t get me wrong”.
With an edge to his voice, Bush offered this unsolicited advice to Rubio, who has complained about the barrage of negativity: “Get over it, man. This is politics”. “I’m not insane about what he says about women”.

He also makes it a point, without being asked, to talk about his famous political family, embracing the legacy of his father, George H.W. Bush, and older brother, George W. Bush. “There will be some folks that drop out that’s going to bring some clarity to the race, and the next real battle will be SC, but it’s going to surprise a lot of people”, explains Rep. Adam Kinzinger, (R) 16th District. John McCain, R-Arizona, who won the New Hampshire Primary in 2000 and 2008. You guys know that Simon and Garfunkel ad? He has no personal connection to Bush other than college friends who worked for the former governor. We’re not running for the back bench of the United States Senate. “And we knew what he meant too!”
