Zika virus prompts Brazilian petition for more legal abortion access
The mosquito-borne infection is occasionally found in travelers returning home from areas known to be affected, but it has yet to be transmitted in the continental United States.

Clearly, there are too many unknowns here but what is without debate is the lack of probity and the haste to associate Zika virus with birth defects without any evidence when there are more evidence by correlation to associate the birth defects with the TDAP, GMO mosquitoes or a combination of all three. In less than 1 percent of cases, severe outcomes including microcephaly (abnormally small heads) in infants, miscarriage and Guillain-Barre syndrome have been reported.
Two of the infected Canadians are from the province of British Columbia and one each are from Alberta and Quebec. Brazilian researchers have pointed to a suspected link between pregnant women’s infection with the virus and a rare birth defect in babies.
