Green Bay Packers post another year of record revenue

After 16 great years in Green Bay, a messy divorce, and playing for a rival, Brett Favre returned home. “It”™s a challenge when you”™ve got 80,000 people all trying to use their cellphones at the same time.

Another milestone will come on Thanksgiving night, when Favre’s number will go up on the stadium’s interior facade during the game against the Chicago Bears.

A day after joining the Packers hall of fame, Brett Favre played a little football. The team released their annual financial statements.

Bart Jr. said his father has made significant improvements since the first treatment. He resumed his love affair with fans.

“At some point you”™ve got to put the depreciation on the income statement,” said Baniel. If one or two secondary options emerge, will they eat into Nelson’s targets or simply open him up for more? He was perceived as a humble athlete.

That’s right, Packers fans.

Contrary to earlier reports, Jacksonville may not host Green Bay in next year’s game at London’s Wembley Stadium. He had an MVP-caliber season, and the Packers finished 13-3. The Packers were in the NFC Championship Game before being upset by the New York Giants after Favre threw a costly interception in overtime. He and Randall Cobb were a two man show on the receiving end of another elite campaign from Aaron Rodgers, but a more balanced offensive attack could eat into his production this coming season.

In 1992 the Packers traded for Brett Favre from the Atlanta Falcons.

The sides have mended their relationship after a messy split that stemmed from the “will he or won’t he retire” drama that led to a once-unthinkable exit from Green Bay in 2008.

It was a sold out crowd at Lambeau Field on Saturday and no, it wasn’t for a football game in July.

That meant honoring Favre on Saturday really wasn’t all that painful for Wisconsin residents.

As they say, the rich just keep getting richer.

Favre took over as the starting quarterback the next game and never relinquished the position for the rest of his Packers career. The response from the fans was loud and clear. Still, this is a moment that he has been looking forward to for some time. Most, however, have. Hence, he considers the event as a tribute to his fans, and describes how awesome it was.

He’d suited up for the then-Red Raiders back in the 70s before ascending to the NFL’s Washington Redskins, for whom he played safety for eight seasons, intercepting 27 passes, appearing in two Super Bowls and making a Pro Bowl along the way.
