Beyonce announces 2016 Formation World Tour
Sunday’s halftime performance included Beyonce’s new song, “Formation”, released Saturday causing Internet frenzy. It’s always been rumoured that a new Beyoncé album will drop this year.

The video and song lyrics are tinged with political and social messages.
In the new visual, Beyoncé executes her signature moves in Victorian locations mixed with modern day, urban visuals of New Orleans neighborhoods.
Beyoncé is expected to perform Formation at half time – three years after sending shock waves around the world in her last Super Bowl performance with a backdrop sign that read: “FEMINIST”. After all, Taraji Henson was jazzed to see Coldplay take the stage, though she confused them with another band of excessively emoting white boys: Maroon 5.
The content of the song is much racier than most Beyonce fans are accustomed to. The clip also serves as the singer’s form of commentary over the recent police riots and tragic shootings in the US.
The release of “Formation” and her half-time show appearance are accompanied by the announcement of the Formation tour.

Easily the most adorable part of the video is the sight of Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter dancing to the beat.
