The clip features all of our favorites: Kermit of course, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Bunsen and Beaker, Dr. Teeth and his band, Sam Eagle, The Swedish Chef, Statler and Waldorf, and of course a dramatic entrance by Miss Piggy.
Check out the full video below, and let us know if you’ll be tuning in to see The Muppets on Twitter! After weeks of fans’ clamoring, ABC finally acquiesced and released the video online.
Watch the nearly 11-minute video below.
The focus of the sneak peek is the Muppets trying to get the show made, and Miss Piggy bailing to make out with Topher Grace, and Kermit’s attempt to get her back. “Sort of an adult ‘Muppet Show.'”. The show will air in the United States on ABC starting September 22 at 8pm, and has been picked up for the UK by Sky 1, so expect it to arrive here shortly after its American debut.
“The Muppets” return to prime time with a contemporary, documentary-style show that, for the first time ever, will explore the Muppets’ personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, break-ups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires; a more adult Muppet show, for kids of all ages.
