According to Action News, the incident happened at the Recess Lounge in Old City at around 2:30 a.m. and both officers were taken to the hospital as a result of the incident. That touched off an altercation, according to the report.
In the ensuing melee, two off-duty officers suffered broken ribs, 6 ABC reports. McCoy is, however, the focus of the investigation, according to the report, and a police report was filed at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, Dave Schratweiser of Fox 29 is reporting that four National Football League players got into a brawl with off-duty police officers in Philadelphia this weekend.
2 On Your Side has reached out to Philadelphia Police for a copy of the police report, and to the Buffalo Bills for comment.

The Eagles traded McCoy away to the Buffalo Bills last offseason in exchange for Kiko Alonso.
