OnePlus 2 gets a hefty price cut… And it’s permanent
Consumers who have purchased a OnePlus 2 device recently at its original price need not fret.

Along with its price cut in the USA, the OnePlus 2 has seen reductions in other markets too, falling to $449 CAD / £249 GBP / €345 Euro.
Don’t despair or kick the cat if you only just stumped up for one, however. The company is offering a $40 refund for those who already bought a OnePlus 2 in the past 15 days, according to Recombu.
A few weeks ago techradar revealed the OnePlus 2 would no longer be on sale in Europe or the USA, but it seems the company now wants to make up for it with a price-drop.
Last month, OnePlus quietly pulled the 16GB version of their OnePlus 2 phone from their online store here in the US. Those purchasing any of the OnePlus handsets will get a free StyleSwap Cover or OnePlus X case.
Not content with simply discounting their flagship phone, OnePlus has announced a special Valentine’s Day promotion. “The invite system helped get the OnePlus 2 off the ground, and now thanks to both timing and scale, our operations have sized up to the Goldilocks principle of just right”, it said. The good thing is, this now means you will pay just $100 more for this smartphone than you do the OnePlus X, which has you know is the entry-level model.

Released in August, the OnePlus 2 is powered by the OxygenOS (based on Android 5.1) and features a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, with customizable navigation keys that dim and disappear when not in use.
