Daniel Bryan Announces His Retirement From Active Competition
Bryan’s been trying to get cleared to return to action for months, even as WWE seemed ready to prep him for non-wrestling roles.

Bryan has been off of WWE TV outside of Total Divas since the end of Tough Enough.
It is not yet known whether Bryan’s appearance is merely a way to bring Bryan back in the fold as the Road to WrestleMania continues to heat up or whether this could be the WWE’s plan to re-incorporate Bryan into the active roster’s storylines.
Bryan was found boarding a plane to Seattle, where Monday’s RAW is being held, from a Phoenix airport where he makes his home.
It’s been widely speculated that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan may be appearing on Raw tonight from Seattle, fresh off of his brand new Tide Pods commercial.
Whether fans will recognize Bryan is another story, as new photographs (including the one below) show Bryan sporting a new look which includes a shorter haircut and a trimmed beard.
Before getting injured, Bryan was one of the most popular wrestlers WWE had seen in years.
What do you think Bryan’s role on tonight’s RAW is? Although he has campaigned to get cleared by medical officials for the better part of the past year, it looks like the American Dragon’s in-ring return will never happen.

Bryan reportedly attempted to resign from WWE (perhaps to pursue wrestling with another promotion) but WWE blocked his request to terminate his contract. Let us know in the comments section.
