Dominant D carries Manning, Broncos to 24-10 Super Bowl win

James, who picked Carolina to win, said he had “heard” about what Newton did following the Panthers’ 24-10 loss to Denver in Super Bowl 50 – offering short, terse answers before and walking away after one of the questions.

Looking back, it’s nearly laughable some of us dismissed what the Broncos did against Brady as simply a favorable matchup between their athletic defense and Brady’s lack of mobility.

“They just played better than us. It wasn’t ever pretty, but when you put it in our defense’s hand we always come up with that win”.

Using data from their Unruly Viral Video Chart, ad-tracking company Unruly determined the 10 most shared Super Bowl commercials based on the number of YouTube and Facebook shares.

“I’ll take some time to reflect”, Manning said during the CBS postgame broadcast. “Being hurt and struggling early in the season wasn’t a lot of fun so I was grateful to get back healthy and to try and play my part these last couple of weeks”.

The victory made Hall of Fame-bound quarterback Peyton Manning a two-time Super Bowl champion and sent him off to ponder retirement after a 15-4 season. You guys talked about being a band of brothers coming in.

Both offenses were completely inept the entire game.

Miller sacked Newton in the first quarter, stripped the Panthers’ quarterback, and Malik Jackson pounced on the football in the end zone to give Denver a 10-0 lead. Denver tied a Super Bowl record with seven sacks and frustrated the player nicknamed Superman.

Because Super Bowl quarterbacks, even the ones that lose, are expected to face the music with reporters after the game.
