Never mind the fact that the suspect then threw the alligator through a fast food drive-thru window, which is just about as insane as it gets.

“He’s a prankster. He does stuff like this because he thinks it’s amusing”, she said.
That’s certainly the case on Monday as a Florida man was taken into custody for throwing a live alligator into a Wendy’s drive-thru window.
He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator and second-degree larceny petit theft.
Officers investigating the incident said that they used surveillance video which shows the alligator in the restaurant during their probe.
His mother Linda James described his actions as a “stupid prank”.
All of this happened back in October of previous year, but US marshals just now caught up the James.

James admitted that he picked up the alligator on the side of a road and took it to Wendy’s, according the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The gator has since been released in a nearby canal, according to WPTVD.
