NBAChicago Bulls unsure of return date for injured Jimmy Butler
Without a healthy Butler, this team could be in some serious trouble before a much-needed NBA All-Star break.

Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg is unsure when Jimmy Butler will return from injury as the NBA All-Star guard continues to recover from a left knee strain. Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker and Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder are two additional deserving candidates. It was first thought that he hurt his right knee after seeing the video replay, but he later complained that it was his left knee. Now, the news is in that Butler will be out three to four weeks with the injury, leaving him off the court for possibly an entire month.
He’ll also obviously not be playing in this weekend’s All-Star game. Whereas this was once Derrick Rose’s team, Butler is now the unquestioned leader.

Butler missed a game last week with a minor knee issue and then had to come out of Friday’s contest against the Denver Nuggets after aggravating the injury. Butler will be replaced by teammate Pau Gasol in the All-Star game, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.
