“With the persistent onshore flow, and a new moon today, coastal flooding is expected at high tide tonight and Tuesday”, the weather service said in a storm briefing late Monday afternoon.

“The snow is going to start [Monday] morning and move southeast to northwest”, Haney explained.
Monday night: An 80 percent chance of snow showers, low around 14; less than a half-inch of accumulation is possible. More snow is expected later in the week.
The weather service says travel on US-31, and portions of I-94 and I-196 could become very hazardous and the chance of multi-vehicle pileups possible.
Warmer weather is predicted for Sunday and Monday, with highs expected to be in the low to mid-30s, the NWS Sioux Falls office said. West wind 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour. Plows should be able to keep up with it, due to the gradual nature of these snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy, but the chance of light snow remains.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.
While man highways are clear, many secondary roads remain slippery after an overnight freeze-up with temperatures in the 20s. Snow accumulation around 1 inch.
Wednesday night…Cloudy. Lows 5 to 10 above.
Travelers should expect some slick roads Monday night into Tuesday, according to Tom Kines, a senior meteorologist for Accuweather in State College. Lows around 17 to 20 degrees. Wind chills will be running in the single digits and teens the next few days. Outside of Eastern Massachusetts the snow will generally fall at a light to moderate clip.
Some sections of southern New Jersey, especially those closest to Philadelphia, could get 6 to 8 inches of snow by Wednesday morning.
