CBS Cancels Angel From Hell
Starting on Thursday February 11th, CBS will air a rebroadcast of “The Big Bang Theory“.

Angel From Hell starred the former Glee actress as a woman who considered herself a guardian angel to Allison, played by Maggie Lawson. The network pulled “Angel from Hell” from its schedule on Monday after airing only 5 of its 13-episode order, according to Deadline. The comedy has only averaged a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.34 million viewers. It matched the recent performance of Warner Bros. Later episodes failed to achieve the same level of success, dropping to 6.3 million viewers for its fifth episode. I just think it didn’t have much of a prayer (no pun intended) to find an audience, considering the time of year it premiered coupled with the relative lack of promotion when compared to other shows in the CBS lineup.

For CBS, the move to drop Angel comes as the network has had a solid freshman class. The net has handed out full-season pickups to each of its rookies – including comedy Life in Pieces. Of the net’s eight current comedy pilots, five are multicam, one is single-cam and two are hybrids.
