Donald Trump WINS crucial New Hampshire primary… as Bernie Sanders overtakes Clinton
While most polls in New Hampshire didn’t close until 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, exit polls from earlier in the day are already giving insight into voters’ mindsets. Voters also agreed with Trump’s stance to halt Muslim immigration.

And he urged supporters at a rally in Manchester to “vote no matter what”.
With less than 10 percent of precincts reporting, CNN, Fox and other networks called the race for the Republican frontrunner Trump and for Sanders, who is battling Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
Clinton’s supporters did not expect to win the state, based on polls that showed Sanders holding a lead since last fall in a state that is a neighbor to his home state of Vermont. Clinton beat him in the Iowa caucuses last week – but by the narrowest of margins.
Once considered a fringe candidate who stood little chance against Clinton, the Vermont senator pulled off a sweeping victory by tapping into voter unhappiness about the nation’s direction.
The entertainment industry has showered its support on Clinton, making up her second major source of support after securities and investment sources, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. He said a “good night” from his campaign would “show the American people that the voters in New Hampshire understand that this country needs a political revolution”.
Over the past few days, Sanders’ campaign deployed a number of surrogates familiar to younger voters, including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Fantastic Negrito, Jonathan Fishman of Phish and Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band.
The New Hampshire primary winners are Donald Trump on the Republican side and Bernie Sanders in the Democratic race.
While Clinton remains the favourite in the national race for the Democratic nomination, the win by Sanders could be a springboard into a competitive primary campaign.
Clinton rescued her struggling campaign here eight years ago with a victory over then Illinois Sen.

If Rubio and the governors finish in a pack, it’s likely to frustrate Republican Party elites who are eager to coalesce around a single more mainstream candidate to challenge Trump and Cruz, whom they believe could be unelectable in the November general election.
