Far Cry Primal Weapons Detailed in New Trailer
Let’s remember that the play area for Primal is necessarily a bit smaller than that in Far Cry 4, mainly because you won’t be tooling around the countryside in a auto because they’re about 12,000 years from being invented. Surviving in the harsh prehistoric world is no easy task, and Takkar will have to employ every skill he has to do so.

A new Far Cry Primal trailer takes you on a quick exploration of all the possible dangers that you’ll cross paths with in the developing world. Takkar’s weapons and tools are in the spotlight, with plenty of bows, knives, traps, and war clubs at the player’s disposal. He also has the ability to tame and command wild beasts, gaining them as deadly allies in battle.
The Beast Master ability makes Takkar even more risky as he can control a number of animals, including wolves, tigers, bears, and yes, even badgers.

If you haven’t seen anything about Far Cry Primal to date, this video gives you the lowdown on it all. Elements of stealth, crafting and base building appear as well. But the trailer also expands outward to focus on rival tribes and the many horrors of day-to-day life in the Stone Age.
