Crimson Days Valentine’s event is nearly ready to launch on Destiny, and we finally have now a lot of details to share about it: when it will precisely officially release, what’s in the pack, how many chances you have to win 320 Ghost and more. Crimson Days is the Destiny universe equivalent of Valentine’s Day, and as such you’ll notice the Tower covered in banners of red, with roses littering the ground on which you tread. If one teammate goes down, the other living member will gain a buff called Broken Heart, which essentially boosts recovery speed and weapon draw rate.
The Awkward Dance is basically the famous performance pulled off by Napoleon Dynamite during his school assembly.
Anyone who completes the Crimson Bonds quest will obtain the unique Crimson Days Emblem and playing Crimson Doubles means you can now claim new Shaders and new Ghost Shells.

The studio is now evaluating how the changes of 2.1.1 are affecting Destiny and also says players should offer feedback as quickly as possible if they find a new bug or if they see mechanics which interact in weird ways. This might help Bungie bring in some old players back in the game as well as score some new ones, although this will only be true in the short run. It involves a new Player vs Player Crucible event called Crimson Doubles, where players take part in a 2v2 elimination mode and have to win five rounds to win the match. Special ammo is also getting a major tweak as players participating in the smaller 3v3 modes will no longer spawn with it in their inventory.
