This is a dream come true.

Sports Illustrated announced the news on its website today, introducing Graham as one of five rookies and “an advocate for beauty of all shapes and sizes”.
2015 SI Swim rookie Robin Lawley made headlines previous year as the magazine’s first featured plus size model, but that “plus size” title drew controversy as well. Graham confirmed the news Tuesday through an Instagram post by sharing a picture from her shoot. “Thank you to everyone who stood up for curves”.
‘Stay tuned for voting instructions #beautybeyondsize #siswim, ‘ she added.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Ashley’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot? Additionally, she will star in Lane Bryant’s latest campaign, #ThisBody, which is meant to be, “a call to action for women to challenge social conventions, to declare what her body CAN do”.
Ashley Graham, left, and Philomena Kwao in the Swimsuits For All campaign. “Cellulite, rolls, curves – the things that jiggle that “shouldn’t be jiggling” – it’s okay”, she said at a Forbes summit a year ago. On top of all that she poses for lingerie lines, athletic wear brands, and is one of the first plus-size models rocking the runway. In this case, Kwao is the ideal choice, exuding her beauty and confidence in the campaign.

This year, Swimsuits For All will continue to make history by having 56-year-old Nicola featured in its ad, making her the oldest woman to grace the pages of the highly-anticipated Swimsuit issue.
