Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning refused to confirm if he is heading for retirement after his Super Bowl 50 victory, but he did promise a celebratory alcohol-filled night in San Francisco. The year before that, 112.2 million television viewers watched Seattle win over Denver.
Tiffany Penick, an administrator at Weaver Elementary in Los Alamitos and outfitted in a Broncos shirt, asked the principal for permission to take time off to watch the parade. The man himself remained noncommittal on his future.
“I have a couple of priorities first”.
“I don’t know why they had us in the same room or anywhere close to where they could hear us”. And I’m not going to bend nor break. “The way he bends the corner, I’m telling you, it was like sometimes the tackle never even touches you”.

Victory for the Broncos was the flawless ending to a hard season for Manning.
Manning labeled it “a unique season”. “Anybody could probably say he could handle the situation better, but having not been in his shoes I can’t really say how I would have responded in that moment”. But Manning said it wouldn’t be Panthers quarterback Cam Newton’s last Super Bowl.
Why people like to frame the Manning brothers as having some standoff at the holiday dinner table over Super Bowl rings is unusual. I’ve had a lot of time to go back and play everything back.
“I would like Peyton to retire”.
But while his mother might be keen for her son to walk away from the sport, her husband, Archie, is less sure.

That reinforces the comments Elway made in the days leading up to Super Bowl 50, though the team now needs to figure out who will play quarterback for the Broncos in 2016.
