Sanders and Trump top Clinton in New Hampshire
New Hampshire is known for having lots of moderate voters and fewer religious people, which is something that was expected to play to Rubio’s strengths and keep Cruz from doing as well as he did in the Hawkeye State.

White House hopefuls Donald Trump and Jeb Bush opened political hostilities on Monday as Republican and Democratic candidates stormed across New Hampshire in a final flurry of events before the state’s crucial first-in-the-nation primary.
So yeah, this can be a problem for Mr. Trump, whose campaign is based on voters’ anger, needs to have a pretty convincing speech to win in New Hampshire, a place who doesn’t have anything to be angry about. That could bode well for real-estate mogul Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, as well as US Sen.
Trump has softened his tone since Iowa, not guaranteeing a landslide win.
“We know how hard it is in the 21st century to instill out values in our kids instead of the values they stuff down our throats”, he said.
He topped the rest of the field among both men and women, voters under age 64, voters without a college degree, and those who have a college degree but no postgraduate study, conservatives and moderates, both first-time voters and those who’ve voted before, registered Republicans and those who are registered as undeclared.
Still, there’s one aspect about New Hampshire that Trump should definitely be considering: the social status of the inhabitants. Ted Cruz, the Texas senator retorted that the billionaire “doesn’t handle losing very well”.
The group of mainstream Republicans made up of Christie, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush were all hoping to overcome Rubio, and had poured resources into the state.
The RealClearPolitics poll average shows the self-described democratic socialist ahead of Mrs Clinton by 53.3% to 40.5% in the northeastern state.
Castellanos addressed the Rubio-Christie debate entanglement.
“We will leave here with more delegates than we came with and we feel good about that”, Rubio told reporters Tuesday morning.
For the other Republican candidates, it was a fight for second place in the state behind Trump.
A handful of voters in Dixville Notch, one of three small communities to vote at the turn of midnight, kicked off the primary in time-honoured fashion.
After his sixth place finish in last week’s Iowa caucuses, many of Bush’s own supporters have said he needs a breakout performance here to remain viable.
‘You aren’t just a loser, you’re a liar and a whiner, ‘ Mr Bush said on Twitter.

In recent polls, Sanders is up by 13 percent. Margins matter. Her minuscule victory in Iowa gave her no momentum at all in New Hampshire.
