Lady Gaga’s stunning Super Bowl National Anthem shines
But the “Born This Way” star does have one thing going for her – Gaga sang the song live.

She added that she’ll get “a chance to sing for all the athletes who have been working so hard their whole like for this moment”, and even cited the late Whitney Houston’s performance as one of her favorites ever from the game.

In the middle of the performance, a single tear could be seen rolling down her face but as Gaga is the consummate pro, she managed to effortlessly wipe it away and power through.

Wearing a glittering red suit and matching eye shadow, along with American-flag inspired shoes, Gaga belted out the anthem into a silvery microphone. She had a big day on Sunday and admittedly, she let her hair down and partied on Sunday evening, but she had a very busy day yesterday – the Oscars Luncheon, and then straight to the studio.
