Raiders owner Mark Davis intrigued by Las Vegas as NFL city
The topics ranged from everything to the NFL Pro Bowl, to medical marijuana for players, to whether he would allow his son to play football and to whether the game is actually safe.

Several players retired early past year, including Patrick Willis (age 30), Chris Borland (24), Jason Worilds (27) and others. If you missed it live, we’re here to break down the most important updates from Goodell.
This will be the first game to be played in Mexico since the inaugural 2005 game between the San Fransisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, which drew in a crowd of 103,467.
The Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans will play in Mexico on November 21. “Mark Davis has a lot of options”. That was true in St. Louis where we have a number of great fans.
The NFL has chose to return to Mexico after a decade-long hiatus.
“I was disappointed in what I saw on Sunday”, Goodell said. “I believe that’s consistent with what we believe are safety issues, but I also believe it’s consistent with what we believe are the standards of sportsmanship that we emphasis”.
“What we want to do is get people active and want them to experience the game of football because the game of football will teach you the values…” “They obviously will have to throw the flag”.
Goodell has spoken to the competition committee, many members of the league and players that he believes “the league should pursue a policy where if there are two personal fouls in a game there’s an automatic ejection of the player”.
National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the media today at his annual Super Bowl press conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The Raiders also wanted to move to Los Angeles, but owner Mark Davis may look at other cities if the franchise can’t work out a stadium deal with Oakland.
“We believe this will be transformational, not just for the Rams, not just for the Los Angeles community, but for the NFL”, Goodell said. After that, the Raiders would be next in line.
While there still aren’t definite plans on the table to put a team outside of the USA on a permanent basis, Goodell did say the league will continue to hold games in London, but didn’t commit to putting a team there permanently.
The commissioner also pointed to a growing culture shift within the game where players have a greater understanding of symptoms, risks and how to manage them.
Roger Goodell has a rules proposal that, had it been in place during the 2015 season, would have significantly impacted the Buffalo Bills. “As far as a franchise, let’s continue to grow”.
According to the NFL.com, the future of the Pro Bowl is in question once again because Goodell isn’t happy with the product.

Goodell’s outlandish comparison, which quickly went viral, was in response to a question from The Post about whether he still recommends tackle football for teens and preteens after the deaths of at least seven high school players this past season from injuries in practice or games. I’m not going to speculate what we’re going to do depending on the outcome. “If there is ever a regret in my life, it’s not playing college football”, Goodell told me years ago. “I want to discuss it a little bit more at our committee, but I’m inclined to be supportive. I think we are heading in the right direction, but we’re not even close to being there yet”. When it comes to daily fantasy, I think there are different issues here.
