Lake Effect Snow Warnings are in effect for inland parts of Erie County, plus all of Crawford County, PA and Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties of western NY.
Snow in some amount or another has been predicted for every day this week. Lake-effect snow bands in these areas have been known to drop several feet of snow in less than 24 hours.
There is also a lake effect snow watch in effect for St. Lawrence County for Friday morning lasting through late Friday night, according to the National Weather Service located in Burlington. Vt.
Follow News 4 on Facebook and Twitter for updates and more. The lake effect will first start out in mutliple bands from the Tug Hill into the Mohawk Valley. Some light snow on Friday could give you an inch or two as well.
