Frank Lampard has predicted Jose Mourinho would be a success at Old Trafford, if Manchester United are looking for a new boss.

Obviously they wont be able to land ALL of those players, even with £300m to spend, but it gives you an idea of the level of players Mourinho will be targetting if/when he’s installed as United boss this summer. It’s a done deal.
Many of the Dutchman’s signings have struggled to live up to their price-tags with the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera all failing to impress at times, so Mourinho will be under pressure to get things right this time around. “Look at your wife, or maybe you have children, or a nephew or something like that”.
Asked whether that big club might be United, Lampard added: “I think it’s a possibility”.
The arrival of Mourinho would place a question mark over the future of United’s assistant-manager Ryan Giggs, who may well look to start his full managerial career elsewhere.
“I think it [the Chelsea game] was a big day for us in terms of the league situation”.
Allegri has been learning English in anticipation of an eventual move to the Premier League and is seen by some inside Stamford Bridge as the kind of calming influence the club need after Mourinho.
United resume Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Sunderland.
“It’s always nice, it allows me to keep improving and also to feel more relaxed when playing alongside him”, Martial told MUTV and Inside United.
He said: “Mourinho is one of the best in the world”.
