The forecasted high for today is only 30 degrees after the morning starts with a bone-chilling low of 13 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few snow showers will be possible, with overnight low temperatures around 19 degrees. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with scattered snow showers early this morning. Eastern Long Island will see the highest wind speeds. West wind 6 to 10 miles per hour. Total precipitation: 1.4 inches of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10. We will see more sunshine this afternoon with highs in the mid 40s.

Our conditions will feature snow beginning around dawn tomorrow and become steadier and heavier during the morning.

Partly sunny, with a high near 29. An additional component of this storm is the potential for ocean-enhanced snowfall near the coast due to strong northeast winds helping to pull extra moisture in from the Atlantic.
