Engineered to conquer the great outdoors, the 2017 Ram Power Wagon receives all-new exterior and interior design elements to match its aggressive behavior and off-road biased lifestyle.

The Ram 2500 4×4 Off-road Package is a value-priced option with a long list of content that customers have requested.

The 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon looks like a super-sized version of the Ram 1500 Rebel, with a new black grille featuring giant “RAM” lettering, tinted headlight housings, a vented hood with a gloss-black anti-glare graphic, two-tone paint, and giant “Power Wagon” decals (which can optionally be deleted if you like to roll up to the trailhead with more subtlety.) The truck’s badges, fender cladding, and mirrors are also blacked-out.

The truck starts as a heavy-duty Ram 2500 model. The cable is attached to a big heavy duty hook, for dragging your neighbor’s bulldozer out of the mud, and the same goes for its pair of massive front tow hooks.

To handle the rough roads, Bilstein monotube shock absorbers soak up the bumps at all four corners and distribute excessive heat that can be generated when driving rough sections for extended periods of time. Some models wear Firestone LT 285/60R 20E OWL on/off-road tires. These obstacles generally reveal themselves during breakover maneuvers.

The engine calibration is unique to Power Wagon to enhance its off-road maneuverability and finesse. Hill-descent Control allows drivers to control speed down steep, rugged grades with the buttons on the column shifter – without the need for throttle or brake pedals.

All Power Wagons will continue to offer front and rear locking 4.10:1 differentials in their live axles (9.25 inches in front, 11.5 inches in back), an anti-sway-bar disconnect system for the front end, 33-inch Goodyear DuraTrac All-Terrain tires and the Hemi 6.4-liter V-8. Available on any cab style with any engine with four-wheel drive, Ram categorizes the Off-Road package as intended for, “the occasional off-roader”. Those in the market for the most luxurious Power Wagon there is are recommended to spend big bucks on the Laramie trim level.

The Ram 2500 4×4 Off-road Package will be available in the third quarter of 2016.

The Ram truck brand has been raking in awards left and right for a good reason-it knows trucks.

This being the ultimate off-road pickup truck in the Ram stable, the manufacturer has decided that it’s appropriate to sell this thing from the get-go equipped with a 12,000-pound (5,443-kilogram) Warn winch.
