To be fair, it wasn’t just Beyoncé that the 71-year old Giuliani didn’t like.

During a segment on Fox News, former NY mayor, Rudy Giuliani said that he was offended by the performance of “Formation”. “I can’t recall another time you saw that unambiguousness with a performance on a large scale”. The game was a bit disappointing because Carolina didn’t win and I thought the commercials were good, but not worth $5 million for a 30-second spot. She also had her backup dancers wear berets in the style of the Black Panthers. If Queen B can get people to think about issues impacting people for color for a few minutes, then I say mission accomplished.

Beyonce has not addressed the political connotations, nor has she directly inferred that the routine was her way of showing support for the “Black Lives Matter” movement, or any social or political ideology.

Speaking about her reaction to the track called “Hook Up”, he said,”She turned it down in the sweetest possible way: She told me, ‘I really like you – but this is very bad.'” Don’t beat around the bush, Bey! I don’t know what the heck it was. It seems to be one thing Beyonce standing up against police brutality during one of televisions biggest events, and another thing her putting out the song/video for people to discover as they please. “But the vast majority of police officers risk their lives to keep us safe”.

Beyonce is an worldwide superstar, and she basically threw caution to the wind with the song, and the performance at the Super Bowl.

Beyonce’s politically-charged music video features graffiti reading “stop shooting us” with white police lining up against a black youngster. “It was awful”, he said.

With “Formation” and the Super Bowl now keeping Beyonce’s name on everybody’s lips, the tour is likely going to see an extension by the end of next week.
