That benchmark makes the video the most watched Late Night YouTube clip ever.

James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke with Adele has set a YouTube record as it surpassed 67.5 million views on Tuesday.
Within the first five days of being posted on YouTube, the unbelievable video had been viewed record-breaking 42 million times, which means it’s the fastest-growing Late Night clip as well.
When James Corden asked him about his rumoured tantrums, the singer revealed he once rang someone to complain it was too windy and asked them if they could do something about it. The video, in turn, drove double-digit percentage increase to the subscribers of the “Late Late Show’s” YouTube channel.
The regular bit appears on Corden’s Late, Late Show and sees a musician or group join Corden in his vehicle as they drive around Los Angeles and sing songs together.
Corden’s carpool karaoke segments are a signature feature on his show.
Just would be more comforting if Corden kept his hands on the steering wheel!

And James thinks his carpool guests – who have included Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Adele, One Direction and Coldplay’s Chris Martin – have an equally nice time belting out their back catalogues.
