Cam Newton defends interview, knows he’s a sore loser

He gave mostly one- and two-word answers, appeared to sulk and walked off the podium after only about three minutes.

Newton on Tuesday did not back down from his postgame behavior, which many people perceived as him being a sore loser. “It was a matter of him channeling all of his talents in the right way and I think you saw him do that this year”. “I think he had to rush out to do a Life Alert commercial”, Miller said.

In California, home of Super Bowl 50, the top income tax rate (i.e., the one paid by people who make at least $1 million annually) is 13.3 percent, the highest in the nation.

Cam remained steadfast in his position throughout, going as far as to challenge critics about his behavior.

“It’s not a popularity contest, I’m here to win football games”. I am who I am.

At the end of the day, the NFL is still a quarterback oriented league. “I’ve got no more tears to cry”, Newton said. “For me, I think that whoever is in his corner, they’re not telling him the right things”. “It was definitely a team season; everyone did their part”, Manning said. Newton at first moved toward the ball but didn’t dive for it. Newton said he thought his legs would have been oddly placed if he hit the turf. “At the end of the day, when you invest so much time and sacrifice so much and things don’t go as planned, the emotions take over. You can condemn and say he gave up, this that and the third, but as long as my team mates know, as long as my coaches know, as long as anyone who follows this team knows”.

“I don’t know why Archie would say that, but obviously that is up to Archie”, the Broncos executive vice president of football operations/general manager told reporters during the team’s season wrap-up. Denver instead fell on the fumble and punched in the game-sealing touchdown a few plays later.

Newton says he’s human and has never claimed to be ideal. Archie Manning said his son texted Saints coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees from the locker room in Miami. I’ve had a lot of time to go back and play everything back. “But that’s who he is, and I understand who the young man is for us”.
