AD NAUSEAM: The presidential hopefuls and their supporters already are planning to spend $35 million in SC and $7 million in Nevada on TV and radio commercials, amounts that will rise significantly as voting approaches.
This was the first loss in Clinton’s bid to win the Democratic Party’s nomination to run for the White House.
But speaking to NBC’s “Today” Wednesday, Kasich said he will not allow the negative nature of the campaign to overshadow his positive message. He vowed to slow down and spend more time in these personal, “healing” conversations with supporters.
OK, but backing up: Who are these superdelegates and why do they get to pick whomever they please, regardless of what the voters want? The next primary vote will be held in South Carolina Feb. 27.
Even though Trump’s staying power in the race may be good for their careers, Adomian isn’t pleased with the current status of the presidential race.
“I’m glad to see that”, Weinberg said of the massive youth turnout, “and I think we have to help educate those people who now have chosen to participate”.

It’s been clear for a while that Iowa and New Hampshire set up particularly well for Sanders, and that as the electorate grows more diverse, she would figure to gain. This notion that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing is just not true.
Winning the African American vote is regarded as key for the eventual Democratic nominee as the primary race moves on in the weeks ahead.
The Sanders campaign has also been making a concerted effort to share Sanders’ story with voters in SC, as well as in Nevada and the March states, by adding staff and launching ad campaigns on television and the radio.
Sanders appeals to younger voters, especially millennials, who have had it rough in the job market in recent years. The results from New Hampshire do little to change that.

Fresh off his strong second-place finish in New Hampshire, Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Wednesday said he has no plans to win in SC, though he expects to do well there. But she struggled to build support in a crowded primary field and her poll numbers lagged.
