MoneyGram, a partner of International Cricket Council, is providing customers in Saudi Arabia the opportunity to win tickets and fully paid trips to upcoming ICC World Twenty20’s semi-final or the final matches in India.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday said its government will decide over the national team’s participation in next month’s World T20, to be held in India, within this week.
Rilee Rossouw and David Wiese, who missed the India series through injury, return to the squad, as does Aaron Phangiso who has been preferred to Eddie Leie as the second specialist spin bowling option. The 6th edition of ICC World T20 is going to be played in India in the month of March-April and the teams are all set to participate and compete with each other for the ICC title.
Shaharyar later added that they had also made a proposal during the recent ICC Board meeting in Dubai that Pakistan be allowed to play their matches at neutral venues in case the government’s decision is not favourable.
Shehzad has paid the price for a woeful run of form, which saw the 24-year-old hit just 23 runs in Pakistan’s three-match Twenty20 global series defeat in New Zealand last month.
The delay can be explained in part by the uncertainty over whether New Delhi’s Firoz Shah Kotla stadium will receive all the permits needed to stage its four matches – including the first semi-final.
Shaharyar, however, said, cricket could attract more threats.
None of Pakistan’s matches at the World T20 will be played in Mumbai but they are due to meet India in a group game in the Himalayan town of Dharamsala on March 19.
The West Indies Cricket Board has said that players who do not sign the contracts will be presumed to have withdrawn from selection.

The forty one-yr-previous stated that the BCCI had efficiently organised many main tournaments in the previous, including that it was totally as much as Pakistan to determine whether or not they needed to play the World T20 in India or not. A second-string team could be sent unless the players sign their tournament contracts by February 14.
