Guadalupe Fernandez Valencia, 55, also known as “La Patrona,”served as a lieutenant for one of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s sons and has been indicted for money laundering and drug trafficking”.
Loretta Lynch was the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of NY, when she unsealed a Superseding Indictment against Guzman in 2014.
In statements to Radio Formula, Jose Refugio Rodriguez said Guzman told him in a brief meeting at the Altiplano I maximum-security prison that Del Castillo had met with him while he was a fugitive and that they had talked about a possible film about the drug lord’s life.
Mexico captured “La Patrona”, financial manager of “El Chapo” Guzman. This was after El Chapo expressed his desire to film a biopic.
The purported cocaine kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman may be sent to Brooklyn to be prosecuted if he is extradited from Mexico, according to federal Justice Department officials cited in the Wall Street Journal today. The indictment, brought by the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s office, alleges that the Sinaloa cartel brought 457,000 of kilograms of product into the area and is responsible for multiple murders.
Guzman has boasted to actor Sean Penn in a Rolling Stone magazine article: “I supply more heroin, more methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana than anybody else in the world”.

Guzman had staged a daring escape from the high-security Almoloya prison in Mexico in July 2015, embarrassing the Mexican government. The cartel is also involved in the production and distribution of Mexican marijuana, heroin and other drugs in North America and Europe. The process is already underway, although it’s expected to take months or even years.
