Eurogamer has confirmed that the re-released FNaF World will have a remodeled 3D overworld and a number of gameplay features that weren’t in the original version.

“Even though the game had a “Very Positive” rating with 87%, I was not satisfied with the reviews and ratings it was getting”, Scott Cawthon wrote in a Steam Community thread.

Along with this, the re-release has “many other new features”, but these aren’t detailed. When you thought we’d seen the back of Scott Cawthon’s excellent but nightmare-inducing pizza parlour; when you were sure the point-and-click horror series had changed tact towards something a little more lighthearted… These fans helped Five Nights at Freddy’s become popular enough that a Five Nights at Freddy’s feature film is in development, and they also helped really launch Cawthon’s career.

The game creator was quick to acknowledge numerous complaints from game players concerning the repulsive and insufficient condition of the “Five Nights at Freddy’s World”. Most of the blatant missing features have been fixed, but the game still doesn’t run great, and by some accounts, just isn’t a particularly good RPG.

Five Nights at Freddy’s has been a fascinating phenomenon to watch.

Excited to get a taste of “Five Nights at Freddy’s World?”.

Will you be playing Five Nights at Freddy’s World? Does Cawthon’s choice to re-release it for free with added content make up for his initial blunders with the title?
