Brownback calls for abortion facility inspections

Anti-abortion activists on Tuesday released a second undercover video aimed at discrediting Planned Parenthood’s procedures for providing fetal tissue to researchers.

“I wouldn’t object to asking Ian, who’s our surgeon who does the cases, to use an IPAS at that gestational age in order to increase the odds that he’s going to get an intact specimen”, she says.

“These politically motivated videos raise some questions but nothing I’ve seen indicates Planned Parenthood violated federal laws”.

Critics of the abortion provider argue that the videos prove the organization is selling fetal parts for profit, while others argue that the executives shown in the videos are simply discussing the expenses that accompany the removal and processing of the fetal tissue, including transportation and preservation costs.

Ducey said in a statement: “The footage released by The Center for Medical Progress regarding the alleged sale and trafficking of aborted fetal tissue and body parts by Planned Parenthood is horrifying and has no place in a civilized society”.

In the video released Tuesday, the undercover actors ask Gatter “what sort of compensation” she would seek for intact tissue. Anthony List, the Issues4Life Foundation, and other pro-life groups during which she decries the “moral depravity” of the federally-funded Planned Parenthood.

The charge came in a five-page letter from a Planned Parenthood lawyer that was the group’s initial response to an investigation by Republicans on a House committee. A group trying to expose Planned Parenthood’s practices releases a new hidden camera video of a high level official appearing to negotiate prices.

“I just don’t want to lowball, $75 a specimen”, Gatter said.

“It’s just further documentation that Planned Parenthood is definitely in the business of selling baby body parts”, said Sen.

“We need to get into their books”, said Sen.

Planned Parenthood says it legally helps women who want to make not-for-profit donations of their fetus’ organs for scientific research. Our affiliates do not have or participate in tissue donation programs.

“I think they’re both totally appropriate techniques”.

“I want to be really clear: The allegation that Planned Parenthood profits in any way from tissue donation is not true”.
