Jeb Bush: ‘It is not comfortable for me to attack Marco Rubio’

Over the weekend, a pair of prominent Clinton supporters criticized female voters who support Sanders despite the prospect of electing the first female president.

Bush fired off a tweet referring to Trump’s comment last summer that Senator John McCain, the party’s 2008 presidential nominee who spent 5-1/2 years in a North Vietnamese prisoner of war camp, was not a hero because he got captured.

He also predicted that Rubio wouldn’t recover in time for voting in New Hampshire tomorrow.

Rubio has the support of 17 percent of likely Republican voters in New Hampshire, putting him behind frontrunner Trump, who commands 30 percent of that group’s support, according to a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll conducted after the Iowa caucuses.

It was a family affair for the Clintons in New Hampshire Monday, with daughter Chelsea joining.

Trump tops the GOP field with 31 percent, well ahead of Marco Rubio’s 15 percent.

Other recent polls in New Hampshire also have Sanders up big in the Democratic race. He is locked in a four-way heat with Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), and Sen.

Still, looking for a high finish, Cruz wrapped up his campaign in New Hampshire by telling voters they can choose a “consistent conservative” who sticks to principles rather than a “campaign conservative” who drifts with the political winds.

‘We can not afford to lose to Hillary Clinton, you need someone who is tough enough, tested enough, mature enough and ready enough, ‘ he said. The new numbers bring the Clinton’s race total to a historical $130 million, with Sanders at $105 million. “We are going to do something so good and so fast and so strong and the world is going to respect us again”.

“She is a skilled, talented debater and politician and you cannot put an amateur on that stage – she will eat him alive. She said he’s a p-ssy”, said Trump.

Cruz has since apologized for the “misunderstanding”, but Trump was doubtful if anything will result in Cruz’s campaign tactic.

There could still be a lot of voters left to win over, CNN noted. After Iowa caucuses last week, the primary election in New Hampshire tomorrow is only the second one, and thereafter it would gradually move to other states in then next few months. “In that same 2008 contest, a late, wide swing on the Democratic side that went undetected by almost all public pollsters in the state prompted the polling industry to investigate what went wrong”.
