Adele is back and better than ever now that she’s shed a few pounds, become a mom, and spent time basking in her meteoric success. “I like everyone that I surround myself with”, she told the mag.

“I’m only touring for the fans, to see the people that changed my life”, she said.

“My main thing is Mum, then it’s me, then it’s work”.

“People always think I joke about this”, the singer said, “but the Spice Girls blew up when I was seven”.

Now, the singer is preparing for a world tour, saying she’s working on getting “some stamina” and has lost weight.

The cover – shot by Annie Leibovitz – features the singer with minimal makeup and, perhaps most shockingly, without her trademark winged eyeliner.

She spills a lot of personal details while also looking stunning in a fashion spread for the magazine, wearing some lovely designer pieces.

Adele opened up to Vogue about her recent weight loss.

Adele has stormed back on the scene with a record-breaking album and toned physique after taking a bit of a hiatus to spend time with her family and son.

Adele adds that she still wears Spanx during performances – and putting them on is like “pumping a sausage bag full of meat!”

Adele revealed that one of the first things she does when she writes lyrics – all by hand and scribbled into a notebook – is to write her age on the front page with a Sharpie. “I think it’s really hard being a famous person’s child”.

On her favourite song from the album, When We Were Young: “a bit of a letter to myself”.
