Donald Trump: How I’ll Beat Hillary Clinton to White House

But Trump did roughly the same among people who feel betrayed by Republican politicians and those who don’t. Seventeen made it to a formal announcement.

I’ve already adjusted to the reality that Trump’s going to be the nominee. Here is how each of them could do that.

Donald Trump may have prevailed in the New Hampshire, but he’s heading into a tough primary in SC next week. Cell phones are far more expensive to call than land lines. As was the case in Iowa, the candidates and super PACs that dropped the most money on television ads saw mixed results. Now it’s more like 8%, or 9%, or 10% might respond to a poll, even if you exert a lot of effort to try to get people to respond.

“Ted Cruz is the definition of sleaze” a tweet that was retweeted by Trump said. Rubio’s setback in New Hampshire helps him. The polls there have an especially tough job to do, which is figure out first who’s going to vote, which is harder in primaries and caucuses, and then look at a race before really much else has happened. He has a fair amount of support from party actors, but it is factional. “Republicans must stand for conservative principles that lift people up and recognise all Americans have the right to fulfil their God-given potential”, Fiorina said.

Clinton attempted to turn her New Hampshire loss among female voters into a positive reflection of female empowerment.

Sanders led by a 55 percent-to-36 percent margin among voters between 18 and 29 years old, while Clinton did best among those older than 65.

However, there’s just too numerous mainstream candidates in order to actually compete with Trump, Kondik added. Most party actors are still sitting on their hands.

The state has often been a bellwether for American politics. Kasich had nearly 16 percent and Cruz, Bush and Rubio virtually tied for third with around 11 percent. His path to victory is basically the same as Rubio’s.

He faces several hurdles that make success unlikely.

“We aren’t doing any robo polls in SC, period”, Bond told CBS News. “How many times has he been on the [Bill] O’Reilly show – and those are the number one shows on Fox leaning up to Tuesday night New Hampshire?”

The implications of a Cruz nomination are less clear but likely not ideal for Republicans.

Of the four non-Trumps remaining, Cruz has the best chance of eating into Trump’s base.

They have all begun speaking events in the next battle state of SC. He can’t win the nomination without that support.

“I do not want black concerns to be moved out with them”. But it wasn’t a particularly impressive one: The Ohio governor failed to reach 20 percent.
