Burger King Thinks You’ll Eat BK Hot Dogs

One of hip-hop’s O.G.’s, Snoop Dog, has chose to team up with Burger King to help hock their newest menu item…a grilled “hot dog”.
It has been a question that so many people have asked for decades: with so many fast food restaurants selling hamburgers, why isn’t anyone really selling hot dogs?
Fast food chains are engaged in a war of menu innovation to win the loyalty of diners. S. restaurants. Other smaller chains which sell hot dogs are Dairy Queen and Sonic Drive-In. In 2014, Burger King’s sales rose 2.1 percent at established locations in the USA and Canada. The hotdogs are made from proprietary blend of ingredients by established hot dog company Oscar Mayer, which is owned by Kraft Heinz.
Tests carried out for the hot dog in a few cities in 2015 resulted in a sales increase that was unspecified.
NEW YORK (AP) – Burger King is looking for a new crown: Hot Dog King. In 2013, the chain introduced low-calorie “Satis-Fries”, which were discontinued less than a year later. They failed less than a year later. The “Grilled Dog” will be available starting February 23. Toppings on the “classic” dog include relish, chopped onions, mustard and ketchup. This is packed with 310 calories, says Mashable.
