Wenger: Arsenal will attack Leicester

Francis Coquelin is pushing for a recall, while Danny Welbeck could be included for the first time this season following a long-term knee injury.

Midfielder Daniel Amartey must wait for his Leicester debut and will not feature against Arsenal.

“They have a manager with a lot of experience who has tried to deflect a lot of pressure and thinking from the team”, Wenger said.

“What is important is to find the momentum back and that means that you win a few games”, Gunners boss said in a press conference.

But Ranieri has played down that there is any pressure on Leicester to win the title and insists his rivals are the ones who should be anxious.

“And that’s where the nerves come in a little bit”. “It’s good that I can speak Spanish with him on the pitch, but Gabby knows he needs to improve his English because that will make the football easier”, Nacho said.

“I believe there is still a long way to go”. I don’t deny that but I take that in a very positive way and as an opportunity to show how strong we are.

“I will tell him on Sunday”. Why must I feel pressure? We just continue to dream with our fans.

Ranieri was also fancied to be getting the axe after succeeding Nigel Pearson, but now he hopes the bookmakers get it right.

“Give me points and not words”.

Leader Leicester has confounded the critics all season and holds a five-point lead over Tottenham and third-placed Arsenal with 13 matches remaining. These games will be Arsenal’s only matches outside Europe this summer.

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech will be a certain starter this weekend as the Czech global has been one of our very best performers throughout the season.

And, with the game being played on Valentine’s Day, Wenger admits there is a hint of romanticism to the Foxes’ surge up the table after being rock bottom on their last visit to Arsenal.

Leading into the game Arsenal have been struggling for goals in recent games, with the 2-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend ending a three-game goal drought.

Walcott has led the line in the last two meetings between the two sides, scoring in both.

Leicester have lost just one of their last 16 Premier League away games (W10, D5). “Our most expensive price is a fraction higher than the other clubs in London and our most common ticket price is lower than many places in England”, he said.

Man City were an example of that, playing into the hands of Claudio Ranieri’s side.
