Due to the passage of the weak front, temperatures dip down to the mid 40s overnight Saturday, but daytime is still mostly sunny with highs in the lower 70s.

But there’s some good news for those anxiously awaiting spring.
Saturday night will be clear and colder. The dry air will makes things chillier at night, as the evening low drops to around 47, the weather service says.
The heaviest snow is expected from southeastern Minnesota into northeastern Iowa and far southwestern Wisconsin, where a winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday.
Cold temperatures are back in the forecast with a chance for snow.
The National Weather Service has hoisted a wind advisory for winds sustained at 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts to 30 to 50 miles per hour.
In the afternoon, Denver is expected to have mostly sunny skies with a high near 62 degrees.

Average weather in this area for this time of year is highs around 75 and lows of 53, according to McMichael. A slight chance for snow is expected to continue to midnight with lows of about 24.
