A nude fight scene, numerous f-bombs and a slew of slayings earned Deadpool an R rating, and Reynolds-who brings a whole lot of humor and charm to the lewd, crude killing machine-will earn the film a massive fanbase. He’s also known as the merc with a mouth due to his chatty, generally inappropriate nature.

Reynolds appeared on Entertainment Weekly’s SiriusXM show and opened up about the first time he realised he and Blake had something more than just friends. “For little kids, part of what is cool about “Deadpool” is that they have to grow up a bit before they see it”, he says. This is the truest representation of Deadpool on the big screen from the comic books.

“In my dad’s dying moments, we were making him laugh”, Reynolds added. Where most action movies would have a lull for exposition or pointless character development, “Deadpool” takes breathers only to proceed into more action.

If you’re a fan of superhero (or in this case, antihero) movies, and are over 18, go see this movie. “In Deadpool, the other characters can’t get a word in edgewise, because he’s constantly filling silences with lucidly insane cracks”.

Deadpool is proving an even bigger victory than expected for Reynolds and Fox. The current champ in that category is 300 at just a tad under $71 million, but with Deadpool forecast for around million on Friday alone, that mark should fall more easily than Wade Wilson’s body stitches itself back together. Initially, Reynolds introduced himself as the former Special Forces veteran Wade Wilson turned wise-cracking Deadpool in 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
