New BMW 7 Series M760Li xDrive V12 revealed
With TwinPower Turbo technology incorporated for the first time, the new M Performance engine produces 600hp and 800Nm of torque. Plus, the properly sporty looking exterior details and aggressive body work make the new 7 Series look downright menacing.

Well, they’re finally here, with the first-ever BMW 7-Series to wear an M badge.
The car’s exhausts feature valves which can open to enhance the sound of the M760Li xDrive’s V12 engine.
On Friday, the company unleashed the M760i xDrive, which was prepared by BMW’s own mad scientists. That gives a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds and 155mph (limited) top speed. The M-badged 7-Series has been outfitted with a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine, apparently borrowed from the Rolls Royce Ghost and Wraith. New to this model year are air intakes on the left and right of the redesigned front fascia as well as active air flaps within the kidney grille. We also noticed the Cerium Grey hue, the unique 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels using Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber and the sports exhaust system. The model also has a bespoke styling thanks to the aerodynamic styling package that renders a more dynamic look to the front end and also packs a trunk-mounted rear spoiler.
Inside, the car’s all 7 Series, with Nappa leather upholstery and deep-pile floor mats, along with M-exclusive features, active cruise control and BMW’s iDrive system with gesture control.
The prodigious torque is transmitted to the ground via an 8-speed auto with paddles and XDrive four-wheel drive with a defined rear-bias, a system that is no doubt the reason the M760Li can accelerate in quite so startling a fashion. If the optional M Driver’s Package is specified, the speed limiter doesn’t cut in until 305 km/h (189 mph). Although, in the real world, you’ll do well to get 15mpg. M parts like brushed-aluminum door sills, stainless-steel pedals, and piano-black trim adorn the cabin, along with an M760i xDrive logo in the instrument cluster.

When launched, the BMW M760Li xDrive will internationally go up against the likes of the Audi S8 and the more expensive Mercedes-AMG S65. Aside from that, future owners who want to avail the “Executive Drive Pro” will be pleased to have air suspension that is equipped with the Dynamic Damper Control and Dynamic Drive, for a relaxing drive toward their destination. When asked about the possibility of seeing one, BMW always maintained that the idea of the “Ultimate Driving Machine” and a two-plus ton luxo land yacht just clashed too much.
