Bethesda have issued a couple of teases from their Twitter account regarding upcoming content for Fallout 4.

Bethesda have confirmed that some major DLC content is coming to Fallout 4 soon.

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4’s first downloadable content will be available soon, along with a revamped survival mode. That and more “danger” that is yet to be specified.

Production on the maiden expansion pack for Fallout 4 continues apace, and Bethesda is “not far off” from finally pulling back the curtain. A more robust Survival mode, however, could go a long way to making that ability to alter the world more meaningful, as food, water, and shelter become much more valuable commodities. As evidence of this, fans have pointed to the existence of underwater structures being present inside the game, and they suggest that these may come into play later on as potentially functional elements of a new mission.

Not a lot of intel there, but given Bethesda waited until the last possible moment to even talk about Fallout 4 itself, I doubt they would tease this until they were close to something more substantial.

“We’re doing it”, game director Todd Howard said when asked about post-launch plans and DLC during Fallout 4’s red carpet event.

The same patch has added a new HBAO+ option for the PC version of Fallout 4, also adding a weapon debris effect. Update 1.03 has brought several improvements for consoles, amending numerous gameplay and visual bugs.
