IT appears Manchester United are ready to throw some cash at Jose Mourinho if he becomes the club’s next manager.
Mourinho is expected to take control at Old Trafford if Louis van Gaal departs the club at the end of the season.
Mourinho, who has won three English Premier League titles in five EPL seasons, was sacked in December by Chelsea, which collapsed this season after winning last year’s Premier League title.
United want a manager who’s capable of doing exactly that at Old Trafford, whilst also ensuring that the team is capable of fighting for honours on a variety of fronts.

Ferdinand left United in 2014 after 12 successful years at Old Trafford, but the club have struggled in the aftermath of Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure as boss in 2013.

It would certainly lead to the renewal of serious hostilities between the clubs and the managers but I am hard pressed to say whether that is a good or a bad thing.
