Burger King Hot Dogs Roll Out Feb. 23
With the launch, Burger King says it will offer hot dogs at all 7,100 of its US restaurants – more USA locations than any other chain, according to the Associated Press.

The classic grilled dog fulfills Burger King’s goal of creating what Macedo calls “a hot dog that tastes like a backyard barbecue”.
“This is much bigger than a product launch”, he says. Both will be served on a fresh bun in the classic hot dog sleeve consumers know.
At $1.99, it’s a quality frank that, should I be craving a hot dog, I’d purchase again. Price and participation may vary. That will have 310 calories. The Chili Cheese Grilled Dog gets warm chili and shredded Cheddar and is priced at $2.29 alone or $4.79 as a combo. “We have 250,000 team members in the United States alone [and] we want to tell them that this isn’t just a normal product, so we want to make a really big deal in the restaurants”.
The Grilled Dogs at Burger King will come in a pair of varieties. After finding that sales exceeded targets, the chain has made a decision to go nationwide.
Burger King restructured its pricing to align with McDonald’s shortly after Burger King merged with Tim Horton’s, the Canada-based chain in 2014. The Wall Street Journal reported the partnership is due to Burger King and Kraft Heinz being controlled by same parent company.

However, Macedo emphasized that Burger King will stick to its roots as a fast-food restaurant rather than imitating fast-casual restaurants like Chipotle and Panera. Plus sticking with burger king’s “have it your way” motto, customers will be able to add or cut toppings. The company even tested table service in some markets.
