Rudy Giuliani calls Beyonce’s Super Bowl performance ‘attack’ on cops
The morning after the Super Bowl, conservative media issued an outcry against Beyoncé’s halftime performance.

The New York mayor said that the entertainment approved by the National Football League should’ve been wholesome and geared towards Middle America, not used as a political platform.
“And what do people should be doing in the African-American community, and all communities, is build up respect for police officers”.
Her video for the politically charged song highlights the Black Lives Matter movement in the USA, promotes black female empowerment and tackles the deaths of black citizens shot by police officers. The video ends with Beyonce being completely submerged along with the New Orleans police vehicle.
Beyonce only made a brief comment about the show to “Entertainment Tonight”: “I wanted people to feel proud and have love for themselves”, she said.
During her Super Bowl performance, Beyonce’s troupe of dancers were decked out in leather and black berets – an iconic symbol of the revolutionary Black Panthers Party – and ended the performance with a black power salute.
What did you think of Beyonce’s performance?
“Formation” is available for streaming and download exclusively on Tidal, with a music video also on YouTube. While the rest of the world was frantically running to get in formation, Giuliani was busy interpreting Bey’s Super Bowl 50 performance as an “attack” on the police. We got to see her sing her new song, “Formation,” live for the very first time, and her dance-off with Bruno Mars, 30, was the definition of epic.
She was photographed cheering on Sunday’s (07Feb16) headliners Coldplay and their special guests Beyonce and Bruno Mars, and now it seems she’s the fans’ favourite to take the stage next year.
After watching the performance multiple times, I can’t find a single reference that could be seen as an attack on police officers.

“I hope everyone wakes up tomorrow &has a day like Beyoncé catching herself in heels right before she falls &pulling it off like the queen, ‘ @Gabbyglitter added”.
