By the Numbers: Democrats Debate After Sanders’ New Hampshire Rout
“And this is not the first time that he has criticized President Obama”.

“Secretary Clinton, you’re not in the White House yet”, he said.
Sanders responded: “Madam Secretary, that is a low blow”. And while many of his policy positions are in line with the Democrats, the party has been leery about electing a president who hasn’t been a loyal member.
While the Clinton campaign is banking on minority voters as it heads into SC and other delegate-rich states down the primary calendar, Tuesday’s contest exposed serious problems for her. She lost in New Hampshire across nearly every demographic, including women. Most candidates from both parties were focusing on SC, whose primaries later this month begin the critical race for southern voters.
The last few Democratic debates have settled into a consistent pattern: Sanders simplifies everything, and then Clinton explains, in detail, why he’s wrong.
“One [key point] is that if you don’t have some agreement within the system from states and families and from students, it’s hard to get to where we need to go”, said Clinton.
The candidates both vowed to pursue comprehensive immigration reform, using the emotional issue to draw a contrast with Republicans who oppose allowing numerous millions of people in the United States illegally to stay.
Bernie Sanders described mass incarceration as “one of the great tragedies in this country” and called for radical reform to “a broken justice system”.
But despite flagging support among women in those early-vote states, Clinton still boasts the endorsements of groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America.
Clinton has met with Maria Hamilton, Dontre’s mother, and other parents of children killed in police shootings.
“I am asking people to support me because I think I am the most qualified, experienced and ready person to be the president and the commander-in-chief”.
“When it mattered, he stood up and took on Wall Street”, Clinton said of Obama, adding, “So, let’s not in any way imply here that either President Obama or myself would in any way not take on any vested interest, whether it’s Wall Street, or drug companies, or insurance companies, or frankly, the gun lobby, to stand up to do what’s best for the American people”. Clinton even used him as a shield against Sanders’ frequent attacks on her acceptance of donations and speaking fees from Wall Street.
“Well, it ain’t Henry Kissinger, that’s for sure”, Sanders said.
“Well, look, I think that she’s been saying that for as long as I’ve known her, which is about 25 years”, Clinton said when asked if she agreed with Albright’s comments. Later in the debate, Clinton struck out at Sanders for saying in a recent interview that Obama had failed the “presidential leadership test”.
Trump was the only Republican to bypass SC on Friday, redirecting his typically unconventional campaign to Florida, where he planned to hold a rally in Tampa.
On Thursday night, Sanders had a second she’s-for-it, I’m-against-it play: Henry Kissinger.
Sanders says universal healthcare a right, not a privilege.
“There aren’t enough good-paying jobs, especially for young people, and, yes, the economy is rigged in favor of those at the top”, she said.
“That is absolutely inaccurate”, he said, when she claimed his plans would leave many people worse off.
According to the latest Real Clear Politics national polling average, Sanders trails Clinton by 13 points, down from 27 points in December.
Their most heated clash came over health care and Sanders’s assertion that his plan for a single-payer system would save American taxpayers money. His shortened blurb: “Bill Press makes the case….”

She also noted that Obama picked her to be secretary of state.
