Thompson beats teammate Curry in 3-point contest
Curry hit 11 in a row at one point, and finished with 21 points. “He has a nice memorabilia collection and he’ll like this”.

Curry was joined by his Golden State Warriors teammate Klay Thompson and Devin Booker in the finals.
When the Warriors visited the White House last week, President Obama said that Thompson’s jump shot was “sweeter” than Curry’s, eliciting a nod of approval from Klay.
Thompson will appear in his second straight All-Star Game on Sunday.
So, there’s that, plus the NBA’s renewed commitment to loading the three-point contest with true shooters like Redick, as numerous league’s best players have shied away from the dunk contest in recent seasons. “For us to be together on the same team is a blessing”, Towns said. “I believe they’re both at the top of points per possession on catch-and-shoot plays this year”, Redick said. “Previous generations didn’t necessarily”. Towns buried a three-pointer ahead of Thomas, after going neck-to-neck with the five-foot-nine point man in an obstacle course that guards are by definition built to dominate.
His appearance lasted roughly a minute. “I didn’t care if I had broken knees, I was still going to try to get this”. He ceded a footrace for a layup to McCollum in a potentially pivotal moment of the contest. You know, I’ve never been on a team with someone who shoots it better than me, so it’s a privilege to work with him every day. “He was ahead of me anyway”.
The night – and the first two nights of this first All-Star weekend held outside the USA – ended with a celebration for LaVine, who won the MVP award in Friday night in the Rising Stars Challenge for rookies and second-year players. Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns (32) and Boston Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas compete during the National Basketball Association all-star skills competition in Toronto on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016.
In his annual news conference, Silver cited Bryant’s childhood in Italy, ability to speak multiple languages and curiosity about other cultures as driving forces in Bryant’s impact. “I grew up always watching these things. I’m one of them”. “I think I honestly can win the Skills Challenge”.
As for that worldwide All-Star Game, Silver said it will be logistically hard, due to ongoing efforts to reduce the strain of travel on players.
“It was just fun, because we have friendly trash-talk between each other, it’s all light-hearted out there”, Thompson told the media after the contest.

“I still think I can hold my own in the competition”, Curry said.
