Wes Morgan: Leicester city have ‘changed Premier League forever’

Wenger said there can be no doubting Leicester’s title credential after wins against Liverpool and then Manchester City in consecutive games, and claimed the two wins could prove a turning point for them in terms of believing their Premier League dream is a real possibility. I hope it will be a good game but the pressure is on both teams I think.

Arsenal fans, if they are anything like me, will still be wondering why Arsene Wenger chose to start with Mathieu Flamini as the holding midfielder against AFC Bournemouth instead of the fit again Francis Coquelin.

Their unexpected success this year has seen them go from expected relegation fodder to possible Premier League champions.

Leicester seem fearless, they are at ease and it’s suggested that they are not feeling any pressure, playing with the freedom that wins them games.

‘They could win the league and they could still be in a relegation fight next year.

Many had tipped the Foxes for a relegation battle this season after their struggles under Nigel Pearson in the 2014/15 campaign which saw them finish in 14th place, only six points above the relegation zone.

Third-placed Arsenal, who trail the leaders by five points, are one of only two teams to have beaten Leicester in the league this season, having prevailed 5-2 at the King Power Stadium on September 26, and Ranieri is anticipating another thriller.

Wenger admitted Leicester have defied the odds to challenge for the title and the Arsenal boss admitted the Foxes have an outstanding chance of lifting the coveted trophy in May.

“We’ll just continue to do exactly the same thing we’ve done all season”. We don’t have pressure because we did our job.

“The pressure is on us as well, I don’t deny that”.

“You don’t need to be a super mathematician to realise it’s an important game”.

The cost of tickets in English soccer is a hot topic, especially since topflight teams are less reliant than ever on ticket revenue with Premier League clubs about to rake in around 8.3 billion pounds ($12 billion) through new three-year television deals.

“He (Mertesacker) has played many games”.

“Leicester play very deep so they don’t give you a lot of space behind”. “We try to give our best and if we can win, we try to win and that’s our goal”.
